Reef is an excellent example of a company which has successfully incorporated sexy into their brand image. Reef is a surf clothing and accessories company that has built its brand on the sexy bottoms of women. They have repeatedly used them in print ads, calendars, contests, etc. to the point where a thonged beach babe has become part of the Reef brand. This is how to market sexy to sell. Call it sexy repetition.

World’s Best Butts Are Eastern European Says Sloggi

Underwear maker Sloggi’s search for the “Best Bottom in the World” ended last month in Munich, Germany, when 19 yr. old Kristina Dimitrova of Bulgaria was chosen to have the best woman’s bottom. Andrei Andrei from Romainia won for best man can. The winners each received 10,000 euros and a modeling contract. Since Sloggi sells womens and mens underwear, the contest made perfect marketing sense. Pure bodywear — Pure genius.
