They featured buxom and full lipped Lara Croft-type cartoon army women in tight uniforms besieging men We Want You. It worked. The requests jumped from 35 to 450! The ads were then pulled. Army tease.
View in Pic LensThis Kotex tampon ad plays off one of the popular names used to describe a certain part of the female anatomy which consumes the tampon. Kotek found the term was the 11th most popular euphemism among women 18-24 year old women surveyed. It seems 94% of these women have some nickname for their vagina. Still, some ladies are seeing pink red.
Despite the complaints, the ad has not been snatched away.
